Directions - how to reach us
The fossil museum “Fossilia” is located in the village center of Mölten, right next to the tourist office, the school center and the municipal building.
It can be easily reached by car (via Terlan, Vöran or Jenesien) or by public transport:
- Bus: Line 204 and 157
- Train: Line 200/100
- Cable car: Line 203

There is a public parking lot opposite the museum. There are also charging stations for e-cars and e-bikes are also available.
A particularly worthwhile excursion tip for families is the ride with the cable car from Vilpian to Mölten (4 minutes journey time) and the approx. one-hour hike over the “Köfeleweg” trail.
This offers various stations for playing, climbing and relaxing a great experience for the whole family.

Yes, the museum offers interesting content for every age group.
Are there guided tours?
Yes, we offer guided tours with trained staff on Tuesdays. The tour lasts about one hour without the lab and about 90 minutes with the lab. Please contact us in advance to ensure your participation.
Guided tours are offered in German, Italian and English.
You can also visit the museum on your own every day. Just drop by.
